1 Access Data and Hosting

You can visit our websites without providing any personal information. Each time a website is accessed, the web server automatically saves a so-called server log file, which contains, for example, the name of the requested file, your IP address, date and time of the request, data volume transferred, and the requesting provider (access data) and documents the retrieval.

This access data is evaluated exclusively for the purpose of ensuring smooth operation of the site and improving our offering. 2 Data Collection and Use for Contract Processing, Contact, and Opening a Customer Account

We collect personal data when you voluntarily provide it to us as part of your order or when contacting us (e.g. via contact form or email). Mandatory fields are marked as such, as we require this data to process contracts or handle your inquiry, and without it you cannot submit your order or contact request. The data collected is evident from the respective input forms. We use the data you provide, pursuant to Art. 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR, for contract processing and handling your requests.
If you have given your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(1)(a) GDPR by choosing to open a customer account, we use your data for the purpose of opening that account.
After full contract completion or deletion of your customer account, your data will be restricted from further processing and deleted after expiry of statutory retention periods under tax and commercial law, unless you have expressly consented to further use or we reserve a further use permitted by law and about which we inform you in this statement. You may delete your customer account at any time, either by contacting us via the contact option described below or through a dedicated function within the customer account.

3 Data Sharing

For contract fulfilment pursuant to Art. 6(1)(1)(b) GDPR, we pass your data to the shipping company entrusted with delivery, to the extent necessary for delivering ordered goods. Depending on the payment service provider you select during checkout, we pass the relevant payment data to the credit institution handling the payment and, where applicable, to payment service providers we have engaged, or to the selected payment service. In some cases, the selected payment service providers collect this data themselves, if you have an account with them. In that case, you must log in with your credentials at the payment service provider during the ordering process. The privacy policy of the respective payment service provider applies accordingly.

We use payment service providers that may be headquartered outside the European Union. The transfer of personal data to these companies occurs only to the extent necessary for contract fulfilment.

4 Email Newsletter and Postal Advertising

Email advertising without newsletter registration and your right to object
If we receive your email address in connection with the sale of a product or service and you have not objected, we reserve the right to regularly send you offers by email for similar products from our range, pursuant to § 7(3) UWG. This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests — which prevail in a balancing of interests — in advertising to our customers.
You may object to this use of your email address at any time by contacting us via the contact option described below or through a dedicated link in the advertising email, without incurring any costs other than transmission costs at base rates.

The newsletter is sent by a service provider processing on our behalf, to whom we pass your email address for this purpose.

Postal advertising and your right to object
Furthermore, we reserve the right to use your first and last name as well as your postal address for our own advertising purposes, e.g. to send interesting offers and information about our products by post. This serves to safeguard our legitimate interests — which prevail in a balancing of interests — in advertising to our customers pursuant to Art. 6(1)(1)(f) GDPR.
